From 19 to 22 November 2024, IFF welcomed a delegation of 4 directors and working staff from Grande Côte Opération, GCO, Senegal’s railway company 🇸🇳, for a benchmarking visit to the Institute.

The delegation had the opportunity to discover the Institute through a guided tour of its various premises and teaching facilities. There was also time for discussions to learn more about the training offered by IFF.

Classroom visits were organised to discover the content of certain training sequences and to learn more about the teaching methods offered by IFF.

Visits to various ONCF railway establishments were also part of the programme (Central Network Control, Rolling Stock Maintenance Establishment, etc.).

The visit ended with a study and the prospect of a richer partnership between the GCO company and the IFF from 2025.
