During the week of 22 to 26 July, IFF ran a new stripping – crimping – cabling and low-voltage measurement training session. Historically given outside the IFF, this training session was held for the first time at the Institute and brought together maintenance operators from ONCF and SETER (Senegal).
The teaching method offered alternates classroom theory with practical work. The latter enable the various operations to be carried out in sub-groups (stripping, crimping, wiring and low-voltage measurement) in the IFF’s new practical work workshop. It should be noted that this course is designed with a significant proportion of 70% practical work.
Our trainees testify to the quality of this session:
“Long live cultural mixing!”
“We enjoyed working with the group, which enabled us to exchange information and work methods relating to rail maintenance.”
