On 19 April 2024, a partnership agreement and a memorandum of understanding were signed in Rabat between Institut de Formation Ferroviaire (IFF) and Owendo Mineral Port (OMP)-Gabon.

By virtue of the latter, signed by Sirs. K. CHENNOUF and R. Rabier, members of the IFF Management Board, and J. TELESPHOE ELLA ZE, Managing Director of OMP, IFF undertakes to provide training to upgrade the skills of OMP staff in the fields of rolling stock maintenance, train driving and the railway safety management system.

This partnership will run for 5 years.
