A few days before the end of his career with SNCF, Dominique Vastel made the trip to Rabat to say goodbye to his Moroccan friends from ONCF and elsewhere, but also to his compatriots living in Morocco.

It was a friendly farewell in the presence of Her Excellency Mrs Hélène Le Gal, French Ambassador to Morocco, Mrs Cécile Humbert-Bouvier, Head of the Economic Department, and of course Mrs Lassiri, ONCF Finance Director and Mr Smouni, Deputy Managing Director.

IFF could not miss this opportunity to salute one of its founding members who played an important role from the conception to the establishment of IFF and even beyond since he was a member of the Institute’s Supervisory Board.

As a souvenir, here are two photos that recall these moments.
The first one dates from 2012 with the IFF project team with your own dedication (mixed ONCF/SNCF team). The second is from March 30, 2016, taken on the occasion of IFF’s first anniversary (with the effective presence of Alain Vidalies, then Minister Delegate in charge of transport in France, His Excellency Jean-François Girault, former French Ambassador to Rabat, Mr Rabie Khlie, General Manager of ONCF and Guillaume Pepy, President of SNCF).

The staff of IFF will keep the memory of a quality collaboration with Dominique, marked by rigour and benevolence.
