After 48 hours of intensive works and mentoring, our 7 teams representing 6 african countries 🇲🇦🇲🇷🇹🇳🇬🇦🇸🇳🇧🇫, presented their projects before a prestigious jury.

The competition was fierce, with highly motivated young candidates that produced prototypes and 3D simulations under the supervision of 6 professional coaches.

These teams tackled the ambitious challenge of “ What can be improved in the rail transport mode that will enrich the passenger experience, develop freight capacity and streamline the rail operation ? ».

3 teams stood out and were awarded prizes by the members of the jury :

1st Rank : Team Blue 🥇”Autonomous Travel Assistance System (ATAS)”

2nd Rank :Team Red🥈”Safety Assurance with Live AI Monitoring & Alerts (Salama)”

3rd Rank : Team Pink🥉”Mobile Vision Assisted Measurement and Defect Detection Application

The 1st team will represent Africa in the finals in Chengdu (China) at the UIC World Congress on Railway Training (WCRT 2025) on April 8th, 2025.
