IFF IS A FRANCO-MOROCCAN INSTITUTE OF CONTINUING EDUCATION DEDICATED TO RAIL PROFESSIONALS.

17 Dec 2024

From 30 November to 8 December 2024, IFF, in collaboration with the SNCF Group, organised and ran an immersion programme in France for 15 young SETRAG apprentices benefiting from the TREMPLIN programme.
During the week, SNCF experts from various rail professions had the pleasure of sharing the SNCF experience with the Gabonese group.

The aim of the mission was to find out about the strategic issues and current challenges facing the rail sector in France, to familiarise themselves with SNCF’s best practices and innovations in rail management, and to see how the various rail professions work in practice in an operational context.

In addition to classroom sessions, the program included visits to worksites in Lille and Paris, as well as regional (Haut de France) and national operating centres.

It was an experience rich in encounters and knowledge, and our trainees were unreserved in their praise:

‘I really enjoyed discovering the railway environment (both the facilities and the structures). The two site visits were quite enriching…’
‘I really appreciated the interactive nature of the discussions … the transparency and educational approach of the speakers.’
‘I really got to grips with managerial practices and I intend to apply them in my working environment…’.
