🚃 From 12 to 15 November, IFF ran a Freight seminar entitled ‘The economics and organisation of rail freight transport’ for 12 sales and production train managers from ONCF’s Freight and Rail Logistics division.
🎯This 4 and a half day seminar alternates classroom training, case studies, role-playing and simulations, exchanges of practices and group discussions and debates. The aim of the training programme is to enable each participant to gain a better grasp of the freight sales technique, to integrate the global vision into his or her own scope and to come up with innovative ideas that can be implemented at his or her own level.
“This training course gives participants an insight into the rail freight transport system. It enables an exchange of experience between sales people and producers, between young people and more experienced people, and between participants and the facilitator. It will be a success if each participant leaves with a broader vision of the context in which they work, and if they share ONCF’s ambition to develop freight”, says Jean-Marc Longequeue, trainer and facilitator of this new training module..✍🏻
✔️ Initial feedback has been very positive, as evidenced by the comments made by participants:
‘I really enjoyed the content of this training course, as well as the feedback from my experienced colleagues. I also found Mr Longequeue to be very pleasant and collaborative, which made the experience even more rewarding.’
‘The whole course was packed with information’.
‘An opportunity to discover the different models of rail transport (Italian, French, American, etc.)’.
