IFF IS A FRANCO-MOROCCAN INSTITUTE OF CONTINUING EDUCATION DEDICATED TO RAIL PROFESSIONALS.

30 Aug 2024

From 5 to 9 August, IFF carried out an initial exchange and preparation mission in Kamsar (Guinea), aimed at meeting a new skills development contract expressed by the Compagnie des bauxites de Guinée (CBG), a leader in the metallurgical bauxite industry.

This mission follows a call for tenders launched in 2023 and concerns the provision of training in various rail professions (track and rail equipment, telecoms-signalling and rolling stock).

It was led by the IFF’s head of training, accompanied by 4 experts in equipment maintenance, railway operations, construction machinery and rail welding.

The aim of this mission was to identify the expectations and objectives of the CBG’s training modules, to ensure that the necessary didactic and teaching resources were in place to ensure that the sessions and practical work in the field ran smoothly, and to draw up a schedule for the pilot training courses.
The entire project will run for two years.
