After more than a year of interruption of service linked to the works of the future TER of DAKAR, the company GTS is preparing for the resumption of the operation. In order to prepare it in the best conditions, GTS has chosen the IFF to ensure the refresher training of a dozen drivers and assistant drivers who have not worked during this long period.

To this end, IFF designed a specific refresher programme on a driving simulator, integrating all the requirements formulated by GTS as well as the Company’s own regulations.

The GTS trainees, accompanied by the communication officer, were welcomed by the IFF management board and the training manager for a general presentation of the IFF and of their future learning environment.

This 6-day training course emphasises practice on a driving simulator and will also be completed by a visit to the “driving” unit in Kénitra to enable the trainees to learn about the operational management of driving at ONCF and to witness their Moroccan counterparts taking up and leaving the service.
